Since the 1st of June 2015, employees benefit from the temporary preservation of their company welfare coverage free of charge in case of termination of their employment contract

Since the first of June 2014, employees benefit from the temporary preservation of the company healthcare coverage free of charge in case of termination of their employment contract non subsequent to a dismissal for gross misconduct and if they may subscribe to the unemployment fund (“Pôle Emploi”).

Since the 1st June 2015, employees benefit from the same guaranty concerning the welfare coverage.

Therefore, and since the 1st June 2015 , employees profit from the temporary preservation of the healthcare coverage and from the welfare coverage upon the following conditions :

  • In case of termination of their employment contract non subsequent to a dismissal for gross misconduct;
  • They may subscribe to the unemployment fund (“Pôle Emploi”);
  • For the entire duration of the compensation by the unemployment fund (12 months maximum);
  • Free of charge.

To be noted : the work certificate must indicate the temporary preservation of the (i) healthcare coverage as well as (ii) the company’s welfare coverage, free of charge.
